Rector of the University of East Sarajevo Prof. Dr. Milan Kulić, on the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the University of East Sarajevo, presented the “University Plaque” awards for 17 the best students in the 2019/2020 academic year.
Noting that the University of East Sarajevo has been of strategic importance for Republic of Srpska preventing the emigration of the population from this part of Srpska and demographic extinction, Rector Kulić pointed out that University professors and students were extremely well engaged in scientific research and artistic work which was very important for higher education and international visibility.
Presenting the awards to the best students, Rector Kulić said that they represented the bright future of Republic of Srpska.
The Minister of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of Republic of Srpska, Srdjan Rajčević, MA, congratulated the students on the achieved results, stating that it was the proof of their hard work, which should be a model for all students.
