Biography

Dr. Darko R. Djogo (Sarajevo, 1983) is a priest of the Serbian Orthodox Church and associate professor at the Orthodox Theological Faculty of St. Vasilije Ostroski, University of East Sarajevo. With the family, father Risto, mother Gordan and brother Marko, due to war circumstances, he came to Pale (1992), where he finished elementary and high school. He acquired theological education and all previous scientific titles at the aforementioned Orthodox Theological Faculty in Foca, and got professional training in Germany and the USA. So far, he has published two books and several independent scientific papers in Serbian, English, Russian and Romanian. He speaks sevral foreign languages. He tries to make orthodox theology as a quest  for Meaning and as an integral part of contemporary Serbian culture. He is married and has three children: Evgenijee, Nikolina and Marija. Darko Djogo is the Vice-dean at the Orthodox Theological Faculty of St. Vasilije Ostroski in Foca.

Biography

Marko Djogo was born in Sarajevo on 30 November 1983. There he started his primary education (Vladimir Peric – Valter public school), which, due to war conditions, he finished at Pale with excellent success. After that, he attended the General High School at Pale and he completed it with excellent success in 2002. The same year he started his education at the Faculty of Economics in East Sarajevo. He completed his academic studies in 2006 as the student of generation with average grade of 9.13. In 2006, he entered postgraduate (master) studies, the major course: Corporate Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Economics in East Sarajevo. He graduated in 2009, and the title of his final paper was Impact of Financial Liberation at Economies of Countries in Transition with Review of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During postgraduate studies he was also the student of generation with average grade of 9.70. In April 2013, he received his PhD in economy at the Faculty of Economics in East Sarajevo after he had successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled Impact of Exchange Rate Regime on Balance of Payment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia, under supervision of the professor Radovan Kovacevic, full professor at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. From Oktober 2016, to July 2017, he attended post-doc studies at Faculty of Economics in Split, thanks to ERASMUS MUNDUS-Sunbeam scholarship. Marko Djogo is also author of three books and 25 scientific articles published in BiH, Republic of Serbia, Republic of Croatia, Republic of Macedonia and Republic of Turkey. Since February 2007 he has been employed at the Faculty of Economics in East Sarajevo. Marko Djogo speaks English language very well. Married, father of three children.

Biography

Mladen Banjanin was born on January 22, 1988. in Sarajevo. He finished elementary school and high school in Pale. For the achieved results in schooling he was awarded with diploma “Vuk Stefanović Karadžić”. Mladen graduated at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of East Sarajevo in 2011, in the study program Electrical Power Engineering. He completed his undergraduate studies with an average grade of 9.81. He was named the most successful graduate student in the school year 2011/2012. Mladen completed his master’s studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, module Electric power systems, in 2012, with an average grade of 9.83. Mladen completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, module Electric Power Networks and Systems, in 2017, with an average grade of 10. Since December 2011, he has been employed at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of East Sarajevo as an assistant, since May 2013 as a senior assistant, and since December 2017 as an assistant professor. From March 2018 to September 2020, he performed the function of the head of the Department of Electric Power Systems. Since March 2020, he has been performing the function of vice dean for science and entrepreneurship. At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka, he has been engaged since the 2018/2019 school year at the subject High Voltage Engineering. So far, he has published six scientific papers in journals from the SCI list, one paper in a journal of international importance, one paper in a journal of national importance, nine papers at international conferences and 19 papers at conferences of national importance. He has also published two books. Mladen has participated in the review of papers for renowned international scientific journals: IEEE Transaction on Power Delivery, Electric Power System Research, International Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems and others. He worked on ten commercial projects and studies for foreign and domestic clients. He is fluent in English. Mladen is married and the father of two children.

Biography

Ognjen Kurteš is an assitant professor at the University of East Sarajevo and visiting professor at the University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is teaching courses in Anglo-American literature and culture (British studies, Cultural history of USA and UK, Victorian poetry and prose, etc.). His primary major of interest is the Victorian literature, as well as cultural studies and translation. His MPhil thesis deals with the relation of love and social power in the Victorian literature, while his PhD thesis investigates the poetics of the canonical Victorian novel. He spent a month at the University of Graz and shorter period at the universities 1st December 1918 in Alba Iulia (Romania) and Poitiers (France). Until now, he has published more than ten scholarly papers, few book reviews and translations.

Biography

Prof. Dr. Vitomir Starčević was born on February 11, 1960 in Javor, Šekovići municipality. He graduated at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica the University of Novi Sad in 1984. Upon completion of the study, in 1984, he was employed in PMU “Tito” Banovići where he was employed until 1992 first as an apprentice in the position of Independent Referent for Economic and Financial Affairs and then as Independent Referent for Costs and Capacities. In 1995, he was elected as a lecturer on courses: Stock Exchange Business and Banking at the College of Foreign Trade in Bijeljina. He defended his Master’s thesis entitled “Accounting in the Function of Company Valuation” at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad in 1998. Prof. Vitomir Starčević was elected as Senior Assistant at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Brcko in 2000 at the courses of Business Finance and Balance Analysis. At the same time he worked at the Business School of the University of Tuzla, headquartered in Brcko, reaching courses of Business Finance. His doctoral dissertation entitled “Creditworthiness as a Condition for Establishing Financial Stability of Enterprises in Transition” was defended in 2009 at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad. Professor Vitomir Starčević has been employed at the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina since 2009 as a docent and nowadays as a professor teaching courses in: Financial Markets and Theory and Balance Analysis. He is also involved in Master Studies teaching courses: Investing in Securities. Professor Starčević also teaches at the Vocational School for Teachers and Business Informatics – Sirmijum in Sremska Mitrovica. Since 2012, she has been vice-dean for scientific research at the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina.

Biography

Saša Prodanović, PhD Mеch. Eng. was born in Sarajevo on September 26, 1977. He works as an assistant professor for the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of East Sarajevo in the narrow scientific field of Mechanical Engineering and in the narrow field of education Mechatronics and Automation. He completed his basic studies in 2004 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering East Sarajevo, department of Production Engineering. In the same year he started working at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering East Sarajevo. He received his Master’s degree at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Kraljevo, University of Kragujevac in 2009 completing postgraduate studies, Department of Automatic Control Systems. He defended his doctoral thesis in the field of Automatic Control in 2016 at the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering, University of Kragujevac. He is the author or co-author of a number of scientific and professional papers published in national and international journals and conferences. He participated in the realization of several domestic and international projects. He is a member of Technical Committee BAS/TC 51 Automatic Control at the Institute for Standardization of B&H. He speaks English language.

Biography

Tatjana Krajišnik was born on November 23, 1976. in Sarajevo. She enrolled at the Faculty of Agriculture in East Sarajevo in the school year 2000/01, graduated in 2004, at the department: General, with a grade of ten (10). At the promotion held in April 2005, she was declared a student of the generation and, together with her diploma, was awarded the recognition for the most successful student. Since September 2005, he has been working at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo as an assistant in the subject of Special Animal Husbandry. At the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade – Zemun, in the school year 2005/06, she enrolled in postgraduate studies, educational profile: Master of Zootechnical Sciences, field of Breeding and Reproduction of Domestic Animals. She defended her master’s thesis in 2008 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade – Zemun, the title of Master of Biotechnical Sciences, and at the Faculty of Agriculture in East Sarajevo in 2009, she was elected a senior assistant. At the University of East Sarajevo, in 2011 she defended her doctoral dissertation and thus acquired the condition for election to the title of assistant professor, in the same year, in the field of Animal Husbandry at the home Faculty / University (Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo). He acquired the title of associate professor in 2016 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo. He teaches undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies in the field of animal production. He is a mentor of a large number of final papers as well as final master’s theses, and a member of the doctoral dissertation committee. He is a participant in a number of projects of an international character, as a member of the project team. She has worked on a number of commercial projects and studies for foreign and domestic clients. She participated in the preparation of the study for starting the study program in the second cycle of studies. She has written several books in the field, as well as a monograph of national importance entitled “Conventional and Organic Poultry”, where she is the first author. The monograph is the first in the region, but also in the surrounding countries, which has scientific significance and determines the direction of future research, and at the same time gives a practical contribution to the further improvement of intensive, and especially organic poultry production. She has reviewed a large number of scientific and professional papers. She has published over 100 scientific papers of national and international character in journals and thematic collections, and participated in the work of numerous scientific and professional conferences in the country and abroad. Member of the scientific board of AGROFOR International Journal. He is fluent in English. Mother of two children.

Biography

Dimitrije Ćeranić, PhD (Sarajevo, 1981) is Assistant Professor in the field of civil law at the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo. He obtained his university education at the faculties of law at the Universities of East Sarajevo (basic studies, 2005), Belgrade (Master degree, 2008) and Kragujevac (doctoral study, 2016). At the home faculty, he teaches Inheritance law and Family law in the first cycle of studies, as well as classes in Notary law in the second cycle of studies. He has given guest lectures on invitation at the Master studies of the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, Civil Law Module, Child Rights submodule. He participated in fifty scientific and professional conferences in the country and abroad. He is the author of thirty published scientific and professional papers. As a coordinator or expert associate, he participated in seven professional projects and legal clinics, three summer schools on gender equality, and he was a member of the organizing committees of ten national and international scientific conferences organized by the Faculty of Law. He is the secretary of the journal Yearbook of the Faculty of Law in East Sarajevo, as well as a member of the editorial board of the journal Proceedings of the Faculty of Law in Niš. He has been and is an editor, reviewer or member of the editorial boards of twelve proceedings from national and international scientific and professional conferences in the field of law. He participated in the work of four legislative committees and was a member of many professional and scientific bodies in the field of law and higher education. He is the President of the Branch Office for the Bijeljina Region and a member of the Presidency of the Association of Lawyers of Republic of Srpska.

Biography

Bojan (Veljko) Marić was born on July 15, 1980. in Zenica, municipality of Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He is married and has a son, Danilo. He finished primary school in Zenica and Rudanka near Doboj. After primary school, he enrolled and finished the secondary technical school in Becej (Serbia). He enrolled at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad in the school year 1999/2000 at the Department of Technical Mechanics – Department of Technical Mechanics and Design in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering). At the Faculty in Novi Sad, he acquired the Bachelor title in Mechanical Engineering (September 25, 2006). He holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Doboj, University of East Sarajevo in 2012 in the field of traffic safety. He obtained his PhD in 2016 in the same field at the Faculty of Transportation, University of Belgrade. Currently, as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Doboj, University of East Sarajevo, he teaches in the study program Traffic in the fields of: Road Traffic and Transport and Motor Vehicles.
