UES representatives met the delegation of Techno India Group from India

Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance Prof. Dr. Dejan Bokonjic, Vice-Rector for Research, Science and Development Doc. Dr Sinisa Berjan and Coordinator for International Cooperation Slobodanka Krulj, Ph.D. met the delegation of Techno India Group from Kolkata (India) led by Dr. Satiam Roihhurti, the owner and rector.

The meeting, which was held on July 10 in the Administrative Center of the RS Government in East Sarajevo, was attended by the BiH Ambassador to India Dr Sabit Subasic.

Techno India Group is a huge educational system with about 500,000 students (two universities, 20 colleges, and dozens of schools). The reason for visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina was to get acquainted with the possibilities of co-operation and investing in the field of education and, in this regard, to establish contacts with relevant BiH institutions and universities to discuss concrete investment projects.

Particularly interesting areas of possible cooperation between the University of East Sarajevo and Techno India Group are related to the IT sector, tourism and hotel industry, and biomedicine. Their experience of matching and cooperation with the labor market would be of great benefit in reforming and adapting our study programs.
