Starting from the next academic year, the study program Agromediterranean Production will begin in Trebinje

Today, the management of the University of East Sarajevo and the Faculty of Agriculture hosted the mayors of Trebinje, East Sarajevo and East Novo Sarajevo. At the meeting in the Rectorate, it was agreed that students would be enrolled in the study program Agromediterranean Production of the Faculty of Agriculture.

A proposal would be sent to the relevant ministry for approval of the enrollment of the first generation of students in the study program Agromediterranean Production.

The Rector of the University of East Sarajevo Prof. Dr. Milan Kulić said that the study program was licensed in 2013, but that classes were not organized because there were no interested candidates.

“Now the situation has changed and with the support of the city of Trebinje, the University and the city of East Sarajevo, I hope that the Government will give its consent and that we will enroll the first generation from next year,” said the Rector Kulić.

The Mayor of Trebinje, Mr. Mirko Ćurić, said that he expected that a sufficient number of students would apply for this study program, emphasizing that the city of Trebinje would provide all assistance and its own capacities at the disposal of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo.
