Welcome to the University of East Sarajevo. It is open and available to students from home and abroad, and cooperation with all relevant institutions in the region and the world, which want to contribute to the development of education and science.
Fifteen faculties and two Academies enroll over 15,000 regular students in 38 study programs and about 1,000 postgraduates.
The main objectives of the University of East Sarajevo, in the future, are the inclusion of a unique European academic and research projects, and completion of reforms initiated in accordance with the Bologna process.
Specific features and advantages of the University are its organization - the faculties and academies are located in eight towns and university centers which allow cooperation with local communities and companies, and this kind of cooperation opens up space for the faster development of the region and create new jobs.
This approach is adapted to the future challenges and therefore I believe that if the University of East Sarajevo is successful in its development plans, its contribution to socio-economic development at local, entity and state level will be more important.
